This is a follow-up measure following the preliminary feasibility study (Jungbu Jeungpyeong~Hobeop 54.2 km, Gyeongbu Hoedeok~Cheongju 18.9 km) and the feasibility re-study (Jungbu Seocheongju~Jeungpyeong 15.8 km) launched last January. In particular, the daily traffic volume on the Jungbu Expressway can reach up to 80,400 km.
